Osun state politics: Oyinlola offers olive branch

Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Osun State Governor

Executive Governor of Osun state, South West Nigeria, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola has invited members of the opposition parties to partner with his administration in moving Osun State forward.

One of the opposition parties, the Action Congress (AC) has been virulent in attacking the Oyinlola administration, and a legal case instituted by the party challenging the validity of the election that brought Prince Oyinlola to power is still pending in an Appeal court.

But, speaking during a programme, tagged “Open Forum” aired on the Osun State Broadc asting Corporation (OSBC) recently; Prince Oyinlola extended an olive branch to his political opponents saying:

“Our doors are opened for the opposition. Anybody with good ideas for development of the state should come forward. Osun state belongs to all of us and we do not assume to have monopoly of knowledge”
