Timeyin, ex-Guardian journalist, to head WaterAid Nigeria

Baring last minute changes, Timeyin Uwejamomere, ex-Guardian Correspondent, will soon resume as the Country Representative (CR) of WaterAid in Nigeria.

He is taking over from Grace Ezigbo,who is presently acting as the CR. The last sustantive CR  of the organisation was Mr. Joe Lambongang whose tenure expired few weeks ago.

Timeyin Uwejamomere

Timeyin, whose appointment is in acting capacity for six months, is presently working as the Senior Policy Analyst for urban water and sanitation in WaterAid UK.

Earlier, he had served as Policy officer, urban water supply and sanitation for WaterAid UK, and Head of Advocacy and Communication for WaterAid in Nigeria in 2003.

Before joining WaterAid, Mr Uwejmomere was the Housing and Environment Correspondent and later Deputy Housing and Environment Editor for Guardian newspaper, in Nigeria.

WaterAid is an International Charity working to ensure increase accessed of the world’s poor to potable drinking water and safe sanitation.
