Governor Saraki vows to tackle corruption if elected President

Kwara State Governor Dr Bukola Saraki

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate and Kwara State Governor Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki yesterday said that he will have zero tolerance for corruption if elected as President of Nigeria in 2011.

Saraki said this while speaking at an occasion organized by League of Patriotic Youths of Nigeria at the Aso Hall of the International Conference Centre Abuja.

“As President I will not tolerate corruption. And as citizens, you should not either. Corruption means stealing from our children’s health, our children’s education, our children’s future…Now it is time for a new generation of Nigerians to write a new chapter,” he said.

Saraki promised to repeat the feat he achieved in Kwara State in the areas of power supply, agriculture, water supply, health and education among others if elected President of Nigeria.
