Nigeria and Ukraine Business relations

Nigerian Ambassador to Ukraine Ibrahim P. Kasai has advised Nigeria to use Ukrainian technology to realise its quest to be among the 20 most industrialized nations by the year 2020

Speaking yesterday in Abuja during Nigeria-Ukraine Business forum, the ambassador said Ukraine has one of the best technologies in the world and is ever ready to show it to others.

“Nigerian investors should reciprocate this business forum by going to Ukraine because nobody transfers technology by theory. We must take deliberate step to transfer technology to our country as other countries like Japan did,” he said.

Ambassador Kasai said Nigeria and Ukraine will soon sign bilateral trade agreement which is expected to take the relationship to the next level.

Speaking, the leader of the delegation and Chairman Africa House in Ukrane Mr. Oleksiy Levenets said the whole idea of the forum is to bring some Ukrainian professionals to form partnerships with their Nigerian counterparts.

Executive Secretary of Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) Engr. Mustafa said they have identified Ukraine as a potential economy and has taken two different investment forums to the country.
