Nigeria’s national football team, the Super Eagles will take on their counterparts from the Republic of Ireland in an International friendly, May 29.
Venue is Fullham’s home ground Craven Cottage, in London
Nigeria (23rd) are the second highest ranked African side behind Cameroon (16th) in the Fifa World rankings and are currently six places above the Republic of Ireland in 29th
The friendly will serve as preparation for both countries World Cup qualifying matches.
Ireland have played Nigeria just twice, in 2002 as part of the build-up to the team’s participation in the World Cup in Japan and South Korea, and then in 2004.
