The Civil Society Coordinating Commiittee on Electoral reform have rejected the seven new electoral reform bills forwarded by the Presidency to the National Assembly.
Speaking through Mr Moshood Erubami and Emma Ezeazu, the civil groups say:
- The seven new bills do not represent the will of Nigerians
- The called on the National Assembly to reject the seven new bills and rather deliberate on the Mohammed Uwais recommendations on electoral reform
- The civil groups plan to summarise the recommendations of the Uwais committee and circulate it to Nigerians
