Fulham midfielder, Dickson Etuhu is saddened not to make the Super Eaglea line up for this weekends world cup qualifier against Tunisia
“I actually felt I was going to be called up for this game and was really looking forward to joining up with the rest of the guys but I guess it wasn’t meant to be. I respect the coach’s decision and I just have to look forward to the future. I will definitely watch the game on television but all I just want the guys to do is to win on Sunday and make all of us proud, because this is going to be the toughest game we have ever played. If we don’t win, we’re out of it.”
Dickson Etuhu says of his disappointment at being left out of the Nigeria squad for the World Cup qualifier against Tunisia this weekend.
Etuhu, who was an unused substitute for Nigeria’s goalless draw against the Tunisians earlier in the campaign, wants the Super Eagles to give their all.
The guys have to play this game like a cup final. Our respective careers depend on this result so they have to take the game to the Tunisians and show them why we deserve to be at the World Cup.
