Terrorists hack National Water Resources Institute’s website

Web sites of Nigerian Government agencies may be the new target of terrorists, with the recent hacking of National Water Resources Institute (NWRI), portal.

Sarah Ochekpe, Nigeria’s Water Resources Minister

A message placed on the site by  CapoO_TunisiAnoO, a Tunisian based hacker reads: ‘Just a message for Negirian gov to take care of our muslims brother :'( Fallegua Team From Tunisia We Support Peace’.

An official of the Kaduna based National Water Resources Institute (NWRI), told eWASH that  the Institute is aware of the development and efforts are on to restore the web site.

CapoO_TunisiAnoO has a world wide reputation of hacking and defacing thousands of pro-Israeli websites since he began anti-Israeli cyber attacks in 2012.

It is unclear, why the hacker targeted the NWRI, though the Northern town of Kaduna where the Federal agency is based is a flash point of terrorists attacks, and experienced a bomb explosion earlier today.
