Tourism gets a boost in Nigeria

The Ogun state Gateway Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) is to introduce Electronic Tourism (E-Tourism) Navigation Service for tourists and visitors.


According to the Managing Director of the Corporation, Hon (Mrs.) Tomi Soboyejo, E-Tourism is a digital tourist guide with enhanced Navigator indicating street level digital map, points of interest (POI) and loaded with information about Ogun State.

 They include, summary of history of the state, Tourist centres, landmarks Events’ calendar of cultural festivals and others.
Hon. Soboyejo reiterated that, the introduction of E-tourism would attract more tourists to the state, help the development of Database as well as improves communication with the rest of the world.
