World cup 2010: Nigeria set to tackle Greece

As  the Super Eagles prepare to take on Greece National side, tomorrow, Nigeria coach Lars Lagerback  may likely make some changes in the team that will start against Greece in Group B  match

“I can’t rule out the possibility of a few changes,” Lagerback disclosed at a press briefing at the Super Eagles base camp in Richard’s Bay Tuesday afternoon.

Wolfsburg striker Obafemi Martins and Osaze Odemwingie, who stars for Locomotiv Moscow of Russia, are likely to start the game.Hoffenheim striker Chinedu Obasi was surprisingly considered ahead of Odemwingie against Argentina at the weekend for a place on the right side of attack before Odemwingie came on in the second half.

Obinna Nsofor, who played alongside Everton striker Yakubu Aiyegbeni in a two-man strike force, failed to shine against Argentina and may lose his place to Martins, who showed more purpose when he replaced the Malaga striker early in the second half.

Olympique Marseille left back Taye Taiwo will also be available for selection. Lagerback disclosed that he has gathered enough information on Greece and will go through this with the rest of the team Tuesday night.
